Your needs, this model
Does it fit your priorities?
What is the published screen-size claim for the global WF238V, and does it become a U.S. buying match?
Maxtalent's exact page lists a 23.8-inch, 1920×1080 IPS panel. The product meets a 20-inch screen minimum as a published global-model claim, but it is not a U.S. buying match here: the U.S.-locale reseller page is out of stock and no current U.S. package is verified.

Maxtalent's large-frame guidance and a general guide linked from the exact-code Australian listing describe KODAK Digital Frame app/account and email routes. These are family/regional workflow claims, not proof of current U.S. app access, cloud allowance, subscription terms or service continuity. The WF238V is not in the U.S. remote-sharing shortlist because its exact U.S. reseller page is out of stock and the U.S. package is unresolved.

The size-class and listing-associated guides describe SD/USB and computer-copy routes, but do not verify full offline setup/display on a U.S. WF238V. A Spotlight Australia exact-code package lists a wall mount, remote and charger; those parts do not establish a U.S. box, adapter or wall fit. Check the exact version and manual rather than treating local media or a wall-frame title as proof.

The Kodak WF238V is a 23.8-inch wall-frame model in Maxtalent's global catalogue. Its exact manufacturer-licensee page lists a 1920 × 1080 IPS panel and 64GB memory. A U.S.-locale Reebelo page also identifies WF238V, but it displayed “Out of Stock” and described a refurbished listing when checked. That page is not a live U.S. purchase option or proof of a U.S. package, so this is an identification reference rather than a U.S. buying recommendation.
A large panel, with limits on what its size proves
At 23.8 inches, the model is in wall-display territory, not a small bedside frame. Maxtalent's exact page is the strongest source for its published diagonal, IPS label and 1920 × 1080 resolution. The pixel pair works out to 16:9, but that is a calculation from the listed resolution, not a measurement of the viewable glass or bezel. None of the material reviewed supplies a brightness level, anti-glare specification, measured viewing angle or independent image-quality test.
The out-of-stock U.S.-locale reseller and Currys UK both list dimensions around 578 × 348 × 37 mm. Reebelo specifies 4.5 kg for its burlywood listing and 4.3 kg for black; Currys says 4.5 kg. Those are retailer claims, not a verified drawing or measured U.S. unit. A very large frame needs a location planned around its actual outer size, mount pattern, power lead and viewing angle. Confirm those details from the exact seller's manual before drilling or choosing a shelf. The available sources do not establish a U.S. box or mounting template.
Memory is a material regional discrepancy
The Maxtalent exact-model page says 64GB. The U.S.-locale, out-of-stock Reebelo listing says 32GB, as do the exact-code Spotlight Australia and Currys UK pages. Those records identify WF238V, but they do not reconcile a U.S. retail SKU or prove every region received the same hardware. Another Australian page with an inconsistent WF238 model field contains 16GB in its descriptive text and 32GB in a specification block; that is not a dependable WF238V/U.S. bridge.
For that reason, this assessment does not select 32GB or 64GB as the U.S. capacity. Even a verified nominal figure would not tell you how much space remains after system files or cloud transfers. Ask the seller to show the exact suffix, storage specification and retail label for the particular unit. The family guidance and regional listings mention SD-card and USB-drive routes, but no reviewed source establishes the U.S. version's card ceiling, USB limit, file-system requirements or supported photo and video formats.
Remote sharing and local media are different paths
The exact Maxtalent page labels WF238V Wi-Fi enabled, but its table does not explain who can send a picture, how the frame is paired or what account and service terms apply. Maxtalent's download index directs owners of wall frames 17.3 inches and larger to a general size-class manual; at 23.8 inches, WF238V meets that published size threshold. The guide describes Wi-Fi activation, KODAK Digital Frame app/account setup, and photo or video transfer by app or email. A separate general KODAK Wi-Fi guide linked from Spotlight's exact-code Australian listing also describes QR binding and email transfer.
These are useful family-level operating clues, not proof of the current U.S. app, account, email address, service continuity or a no-subscription policy. The out-of-stock reseller description calls its allowance 10GB of free cloud storage, while the general guide describes 10GB of free cloud traffic and says additional channels may be purchased. Those labels may not mean the same thing, and neither establishes a current U.S. quota, fee, subscription rule or service guarantee. Maxtalent's security table lists WF238V from 1 September 2025 through 1 September 2030 for security updates, subject to the policy's stated changes. A security-update date does not guarantee cloud or app availability.
The same guides describe SD and USB media, including computer-copy routes, separately from online sharing. This can be helpful if someone prepares files locally, but the manual says Wi-Fi is needed for some functions and does not establish that first setup or all later photo display works without Internet. Do not treat a removable-media option as proof of an internet-independent routine.
Rotation, power and the wall package still need exact-version checks
Maxtalent lists a gravity sensor. That phrase alone does not prove automatic photo rotation or that the frame can be mounted in both orientations. Currys' exact-code UK page claims portrait and landscape modes and automatic rotation, but those remain retailer claims for a regional listing, not a verified U.S. arrangement. The five-page general manual linked from Spotlight is not WF238V-titled on its cover, and some interior screens name other frame codes. I have not tested rotation, cropping, glare or the mounting hardware.
The product is described as a wall frame, and the large-frame instructions describe connecting a power adapter. Spotlight's exact-code Australian black listing says its package includes a wall mount, remote and charger; those are Australian-listing details, not proof of U.S. box contents or plug. The exact U.S. adapter, remote battery, wall hardware, stand, dimensions and finish remain unresolved. The photo accompanying this assessment is from Spotlight Australia's exact WF238V black listing; it illustrates that regional listing, not a delivered U.S. unit.
What this reference can and cannot help you decide
WF238V is worth recognizing if a listing uses that exact code and claims a large Wi-Fi wall display. It is not currently included as a U.S. buying match in this library: the one U.S.-locale reseller page checked was out of stock, and no current U.S. SKU, edition or complete package was verified. Before relying on any future offer, confirm the precise model rather than the related WF238 string, the actual memory, seller and condition, power label and plug, current app/account route, service and fee terms, offline behavior, mount contents and dimensions. Do not infer compatibility from this global model reference alone.
